Hi

I’m double vaccinated and had booster in December. I suddenly lost all smell and taste as if someone clicked their fingers over the weekend with a slight headache so tested and I’m blaring positive.

Tested son he is also positive

I feel 99% fine . Will it stay this way ? Only worried as I have history of asthma and needing nebulised or steroids and so on

There’s no way to tell if it will stay that way tbh…I remember first few days I had it I was absolutely fine and the boom I started feeling like shit. Chest was hurting, body aching, blocked nose, headache, can’t eat, can’t sleep…it was a lot! But everyone’s diff to tbh so you may feel alright all the way through.

Hi OP, no way to tell, but fingers crossed for you. Might be worth getting an oximeter if you don't already have one.

I'm not too bad. Bit of a heavy cold, sneezing, few body aches but really not too bad. Early days though I suppose. I tested positive yesterday with a sore throat. That has gone.

like you I tested positive (triple vexed, booster end of November) and felt fine and thankfully stayed that way so was able to release after the 2 negatives on day 5 and 6 (test day being day 0) fingers crossed for you

For my first 3 days after testing positive I just had a cough, more annoying than anything else. Then I got all the other symptoms and still a bit tired and aching on day 9.

lilahbelle · 21/03/2022 15:02

I tested positive (double vaxxed and boosted) and I'm also pregnant but I've had very very mild symptoms (day 5 now), just a mild head cold really.

axolotlfloof · 21/03/2022 16:23

Good luck OP.
Hopefully your symptoms will stay mild.
There really is no way to tell from early symptoms though.

KylieKoKo · 21/03/2022 17:48

Most people I know who were symptomatic (myself included) lost their taste and smell at the tail end of infection when they were starting to feel better. No one got worse after this so fingers crossed you are already on the mend and won't feel any worse.
