Me 2 children tested positive on Lft after having typical Covid symptoms. Kept them at home for a week until tested negative. I stupidly didn’t record their Lft results though. Should have I done for their medical records?

I would, in case of future need for proof of travel. And in case of vaccine, which needs 28 day gap where I am. Maybe call Test and trace so dates are recorded accurately. Not sure if you can maybe do online, depends how long ago it was.

Depending on long ago it was, you could maybe do a pcr test? That way they also get a certificate of recovery which might be useful if you’re going away. You could also do a lft and report it as positive but I’m not sure if that’s as useful

You won't be able to do it online but maybe call 119 and see what they say.

Abraxan · 20/03/2022 10:24

You can't do it online as that only allows you to add details from today or yesterday, unless you add it with an incorrect date.
However, this could affect when they can have a next vaccine, etc,

An LFT doesn't generate a 'proof of recovery' certificate for travel. You need a PCR for that.
