Can someone clarify what will be the new rules in testing from next month?

I understand there will be no more free LTF.
But are PCR tests still going? I’ve come across the idea that only the over 65 could get tested and that’s it. Is that right?

There will be no free testing for the majority of people, so no lfts or pcrs unless you’re in one of the few groups who will qualify. So most of us just won’t be testing and won’t know if we have it or not

Thank you.

I thought that’s what it was but was clutching at straw that PCR would still be available!
I’m working with vulnerable people and we still have quite strict rules. It’s going to be fun just adjusting our guidelines to that.

It will be up to your work to provide tests if they feel they need them.

Old peoples homes may find that relatives prefer the staff to test for example at it will become a work cost.
