I tested positive on Tuesday evening , with symptoms starting on Monday, but I had negative tests on Monday and again Tuesday morning so I’m taking Tuesday as day 1.
I am feeling really awful…but am trying to get my head round when I can potentially go back to work.
I know I need to be -ve on days 5 and 6 but is that in the evening or the morning?
I’m a teacher so will need to inform my cover manager- - if I am positive Saturday pm (day 5) but negative Sunday on (day6) should I test Monday morning and go in if clear and negative?
Or, wait til Monday evening
Or shift testing to the morning to give ‘on the day’ results.
Apologies if this seems dim, or ridiculously precise, the cover system is a dark art I don’t want to get wrong!
