Should I go?

Hi

Sorry this has probably been done to death.......

I met up with a close friend on Wednesday for a long lunch and also an hour's car ride together.

She had a productive cough (we were sitting opposite each other for a couple of hours) but said she had been testing daily and was negative. Low and behold, the following day she advised both her and her husband had tested negative. I have today (two days later) woken up with a blocked nose (not productive when blown) but no other symptoms. Could this be the first sign of covid?

I was exposed to it late January (my son had it) and I had a few of the same mild symptoms as him although I tested negative at the time.

I'm due to go away tomorrow for the weekend on the train. So what should I do (apart from testing)........?

Covid symptoms are so varied that I think it's almost impossible to rule out something being a symptom of Covid. Definitely think you shouldn't travel if you test positive. If you do decide to go, wearing a good quality mask would help reduce the the risk of you passing Covid to others if you do have it.
