In the interest of safety, a very thick question.
I had covid and have just finished isolation. Partner and I were careful to try and protect him, he's just tested positive
Am I right thinking I might as well give him a cuddle now because I can't rewatch what I've just had? Or is it possible he's caught a different'version' and I shouldn't?

You are unlikely to catch it again so soon. And it's almost certainly omicron (BA1 or 2).

We've been sitting here paranoid wearing masks and sitting apart the whole time I had it and now I'm ok he has it Confused
Sorry for sounding dim I just wanted to be sure

Not a dim question at all! V unlikely to catch it. Tiny possibility if he's had outside contact recently and caught a different variant I suppose.
