Day 9 - Dark Positive

Hello,

I've been testing since Day 5 hoping to get 2 negatives to no avail - my tests have been getting fainter but this morning on Day 9 I've tested and it's incredibly dark again. Has anyone else experienced this? I've got myself in such a panic. Sad

What is your panic? Is it that you want to see proof that you are virus free?

hopeishere · 16/03/2022 10:24

You can either
Keep testing until negative
Stop testing and be sensible about contact with other people for a bit longer

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and wanting it to be over Covid asap. Fed up of being stuck in a room away from the rest of the family etc.

Thank you, am aware I can leave isolation tomorrow was just surprised as I've not heard of this before so wondered if anyone else had experienced the same.

My day nine was really strong after a faint day eight but totally negative day ten

Ah, sorry OP that's rubbish. I totally understand you want to see that pesky line gone. Well you are at the finish line. Perhaps today's test is just a bit of an anomaly. I think it's unlikely you are more infections now at day 9. Hope you are clear tomorrow for some peace of mind. Flowers

These are DD's day 5 and 6 tests (days 6 and 7 of being positive).
She had a fever and felt rubbish (no other symptoms) for 3 days and feeling totally fine since then – very slight morning sore throat and slightly runny nose now. My hopes of her being able to go back to school this week are fading!

I had a negative one day 7, a
Definite positive day 8, then weak positives
On days 9 and 10. Negatives day 11 onwards.

Rest up OP.
