Triple vaxxed. Symptoms have been mostly mild, like a bad cold but today the cough seems to have settled in my chest and it’s burning everytime I cough. Do you think I should get looked at? Midwives won’t see me until I’ve have a negative test Sad

You may have a secondary infection, I'd get seen/phonecall ASAP, regardless of being pregnant (you need a Dr obviously not a midwife).

Thymeout · 15/03/2022 20:33

Yes. Please see a doctor ASAP. Pregnant women are particularly vulnerable.

I would ring 111 they can get you an appointment to be seen at a medical assessment unit who will check you over.

Hi OP,

We're sorry to hear you're feeling unwell. We are going to move this to COVID in the hopes that you get some more helpful responses.

Jansobieski · 15/03/2022 20:56

Have you got a sats probe ? If 94% or less you need to ring maternity triage. If temp more than 37.2 likewise.

JanglyBeads · 15/03/2022 21:33

Not a probe, it's an oximeter, the thing you clamp on your finger and it tells you the % of oxygen in your blood.

@JanglyBeads I’m a HCP who’s worked in a covid clinic so know exactly what it is.
