Long covid after Omicron

So it’s been 12 weeks since I tested positive - assume I had Omicron as I had most of the classic symptoms plus was in London where it was rife. I was double vaxxed but not boostered. I’m now developing the classic Long covid symptoms, particularly bad headaches and this weird anxiety feeling. I am late 30s, no health conditions, very fit, non smoker etc so it’s taken me by surprise. Everyone else I know who caught covid around the same time (most were not yet boosted at the time) seems to have made a total recovery so I’m feeling depressed and lonely. My GP wasn’t particularly helpful but I’ve looked up a lot of stuff online although not seeing any improvements.

Is there anyone else that’s still suffering months after covid even though they were double jabbed?

Not me, but my husband still has a dry cough and low energy levels. No idea what variety of covid it was. I'd be asking for standard bloods, fbc, u&e, etc, just to check, otherwise just take it steady.

Thanks! Patience isn’t one of my strengths... also frustrating because I was at my peak fitness in years and going to the gym 3-4x a week, which I’ve now had to completely stop

I'd be impatient too! Very annoying. It will go, it's just slow for some unfortunately. GWS
