Upset / painful stomach day 5 or 6 of Covid

Currently experiencing this 😫 was up several times in the night with a bad stomach and it’s quite painful too

Not eaten much at all the last few days as no appetite

Has anyone experienced similar as I’d thought if I was going to get GI symptoms it would be right at the start, not nearly a week in?

Yes, it seems it is pretty common and there was a thread about it a while ago. Mine included cramps and violent D&V, lasting almost two full days.
Keep taking fluids!

Yes, I had the same, at around the same point. It didn’t last for long luckily. Hope you feel better soon.

I had it before testing positive. Day 2 today and back to normal.

Day 5 here and D&V

Yep me too, I'm day 3 from a positive test but day 5 from when I first started feeling unwell.

Stabbing stomach pains and loose bowels resulting in a stinging backside, this started yesterday.

Oh and no appetite here either, forced myself to eat some tomato soup which tasted like acrid tap water.. lovely

I’m on day 5 and I’ve woke up to being sick, it’s only bile as I’ve bearly eaten.

For me it feels like a mixture of flu & Norovirus but with severe fatigue thrown in 😷
