eye infection

Hi there

We have had covid in our house in the last 2 weeks. I have never tested positive though although I do wonder if I had it and didn't realise. I've developed conjunctivitis and am wondering if anyone that had had covid has had eye infections after recovering from it. It's very unusual for me to get an eye infection. Thanks and hope you are all doing well.

Yes both my husband and I got infected eyes with covid. And light sensitivity. Not pleasant..

Yep - I had conjunctivitis-like symptoms. Arrived on about day 8/9. I had OTC drops for it, but it took a while for symptoms to go completely - much longer than when I've had conjunctivitis before.

Weirdly we kept testing negative too on LTFs. But we came down with several of the classic omicron symptoms (exhaustion, cough, runny nose, headache). The gunky eyes followed about a week after the other symptoms started.

Currently dealing with this. It's horrible.

I'm day 9 with covid and yes I have conjunctivitis!! Not had it for years. My husband thinks it's related to my covid symptoms of being really congested with my sinuses. Also I still feel really crap and exhausted 9 days in. Fed up of being ill
