When was Day One?

Felt unwell on Friday, but no positive test until today.

So when was Day One?

Friday, when I felt unwell or today when I tested positive?

Friday when feeling unwell was day 0. It's starts at zero for counting. Today is day 2.

day 1 is test day is how my dd counted it,

I would count when you first started having symptoms.

In my experience, people are taking a while to show positive on the test.

My daughter was unwell on Sunday, didn’t test positive until following Wednesday, then was negative again by Saturday.

Day 0 is when you got symptoms, though mine was complicated a bit as I hadn't quite got over a (presumably unrelated) cold I had last week. I'm taking my day 0 as yesterday as that's when I got new symptoms.

Day 0 is the day of symptoms or, if no symptoms, date of positive test.

So, technically day 0 for you is Friday
Day 1 was yesterday and today is day 2.

I'm not sure if it needs to be specific symptoms, but from conversation with my gp I don't think so.

Friday will be your day 0.

I started feeling rough on Monday and progressively got worse through the week and only tested positive on Thursday! Day 6 for me today and still getting strong positives on my test

I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday, only got positive LFT today, so I’m on day 3.

My husband tested positive Sunday and is still positive today day 5! I started feeling unwell Monday and only tested positive today Thursday. So does that mean Monday for me would be day 0?

DD1 got a positive test Tuesday night. School said yesterday was day 0. No symptoms. Occasionally sneezing
