Negative lateral flow the day after a positive

I did a LF yesterday morning as I was due to travel on public transport and I got a positive result back (did two tests just to be sure). I had very few symptoms as such - a slight headache and tiredness but this is how I usually feel as the mum of young kids. Subsequently heard from some colleagues that I had been with at work that they were positive too. Cancelled my plans and isolated at home away from my family. Woke up this morning feeling totally fine and tested again abs it was negative. Looking back I think my symptoms started on Thursday (got a slight headache on this day) so today I am on day four. Do I have to wait until I test negative on day five and six before I can mix or is it safe enough if I also test negative tomorrow. I know that it is just guidance in place now but I am keen to make sure I don’t infect others. Am trying to gauge if I am safe enough now to look after my kids or should I isolate til day 6.

Guidance is to test days 5 and 6. All 4 of us here have covid 2 tested positive Thursday, one Friday and myself only today.but we’ve all been ill since Wednesday.

Day 0 is the day your symptoms started, or if no specific symptoms, the date of your positive test.

Following the guidance, you need two negative tests, 24 hours apart, from days 5 and 6 before recommended isolation ends.

However, most people aren't isolating within the house these days (or even before the changes) in my experience.

I didn't isolate at home on either occasion - first was October 2020 and dh/dd had to isolate anyway; second time was January 2021 and dh went to work as normal. Neither caught it from me, tested daily and dh even shared same bed.
