C section and covid

I'm booked in for a c section on Tuesday and it suddenly feels like everyone around me is coming down with covid. I was contacted to say I had been a close contact on Saturday. I haven't tested, but so far feel fine (other than the lovely symptoms that come with being 39 weeks pregnant) and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what would happen with regards to the section if I become covid positive? I'm booked in for a test at the hospital over the weekend.

I know it can differ per trust and reasons for c section, but i had my baby by elective section in October due to anxiety, and was advised that if me or my partner tested posted on the pcrs done at the pre op (3days before) they may postpone my surgery, or I would need to be alone if it was my partner that tested positive. There was also a seperate ward for covid positive new mums which didn't allow visitors. Fingers crossed you stay negative and all goes well for you! X
