Vaccinated after birth

I chose not to get vaccinated until I'd given birth, my baby is now 4 months old and my husband and I have just tested positive for the first time.

Will my baby be okay as he didn't get antibodies through me?

Have you now been vaccinated and are you breastfeeding?

I am now double jabbed - waiting on booster as not allowed yet.

No longer breastfeeding.

If you got either vaccine when you were breastfeeding you should have passed antibodies through your milk. Generally babies and young children are either symptomless or have very mild covid.

I was only breastfeeding for about 3 weeks but I only had one jab during that period....

Remember for most people Covid is extremely mild, and that would probably be the case for your young baby, whether or not they have any antibodies via your great milk post- your first vaccination.
