Has anyone else had brown phlegm? (sorry)

I've had covid for a few days now and mostly have symptoms of a heavy cold (sneezing, cough, muscle ache, fatigue) but this morning I've started coughing up brown phlegm. Has anyone else had this? I don't feel desperately ill so don't thinkni need to see a doctor but wasn't sure if it could be a sign of an infection that I should see someone about.

I'd ring for advice with this.

Are you having enough fluids? I’ve been coughing up yellow phlegm and that’s ok as it’s the dead cells that make it yellow/sign of body fighting back

Brown might be a tiny bit of blood mixed in from coughing. If it’s a day or 2 I would not worry, if more then yes, consult 111

DH and I both had a variety of colours of phlegm including brown and it cleared up on its own. Clear, yellow, brown, green, bloody…. we did an econsult with pictures and were told it was normal with covid but to get back in touch if it didn’t clear up.

Maybe do an econsult?
