I am super late, like 2 weeks.

Haven’t had a period following Covid.

Anyone else?

Following with interest. I am 2 days late and currently positive, never been late before. Done two pregnancy tests and both negative too, was wondering if it had anything to do with currently having covid…

HumunaHey · 06/03/2022 11:11

Yeah Covid messed with my period. I missed a period entirely after I had covid. It came back with a vengeance the following month though.

pawpaws2022 · 06/03/2022 11:16

Not covid but the vaccine has messed mine up. I've been either on a period or spotting for 19 days out of 28 Sad and it's not stopping. My period was late too (I have a 26 day cycle and the one after the period was 32 days)
First 3 vaccines were fine but the 4th seems to have done this

rainbowshows · 06/03/2022 13:54

Just come across this but I've just got over covid and my period is 4 days late (normally regular to the day).

PinkFizz1 · 06/03/2022 15:12

After my post this morning I seem to have magically come on! Still, 2 days late though.

KindlyKanga · 06/03/2022 15:14

Yes it delayed mine. Like the jabs did.

PoleFairy · 06/03/2022 15:20

Jabs sort of delayed my period but I had prolonged spotting. So basically I usually have a 26/27 day cycle but have realised after each jab I started spotting light brown around day 17 and then would have full flow day 28/29. So it was late and spotting

I had the booster late December and covid 3 weeks later. No period since late November. However I'm over 45. It seems too much of a coincidence as I don't have other menopause symptoms.

isthisright22 · 06/03/2022 15:43

Well I had my first vaccine on the 17th Jan this year, tested positive for covid on 21st Jan (I was due to come on my period around this time) however it didn't happen and I'm still waiting.. although don't know whether this is a side effect of the vaccine or covid or both.

Rispa42 · 06/03/2022 16:59

My periods have been a bit messed up after having covid too. First one was on time but very scant, second was 5 days early (I’m very regular) and quite ‘clotty’.

FayleWatersWaters · 06/03/2022 20:27

I started with heavy spotting/light period the day before I tested positive with covid. I'm on the combined pill and I was on the 4th or 5th pill in the packet. I didn't link it to covid, but it's very unusual for me, so I'm wondering now if there is a link.

CooDeGrass · 07/03/2022 08:18

Yes - I had unconfirmed covid in spring 2020 and missed two full months before cycles went back to normal

Had it for the second time in Jan of this year, and it’s messed with my cycles again

Moominsweetie · 15/08/2022 12:47

I had omicron quite badly in March this year

had a period 10 days early then nothing since then !

am older (49) so I wonder if it’s kicked me into menopause or something !
