LFT when going into the office

Apparently we’re still required to send proof of a negative LFT before going into the office. And wear a mask when away from ours desk.

Does anyone else still have these rules?

No.
But my dh was asked for photographic proof of neg LFT before he visited an office of a client. So I suppose some have these rules.

We are very strongly encouraged to test 1/2 times a week (using tests work pay for) but no one checks up on it. We also have to wear masks unless socially distanced or teaching (university).

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 01/03/2022 16:51

We still have to wear masks away from our desks but we've never been asked to do an LFT. I've never done one to go into the office.

Myshitisreal · 01/03/2022 16:52

In Belfast, staff still expected to wear Masks to work and test before and after (theatre)

Madmog · 02/03/2022 07:56

Yes, DH still required to test for work (they supply LFTS at moment, but I guess this will go after 1 April) and wear mask. I've got two jobs, one will definitely still require a mask, the other mask not required but it's five days off and two LFTs before return.

GeneLovesJezebel · 02/03/2022 07:57

No.

EmmaStone · 02/03/2022 08:06

Yes

Jules912 · 02/03/2022 08:54

We're encouraged to but they don't ask for proof.

emmathedilemma · 02/03/2022 09:06

Never had to provide evidence of tests but we're still wearing masks when not at desks because it's a requirement still in scotland. That will be dropped in a few weeks time and has already been dropped in England.

ICouldBeAnyone · 02/03/2022 09:08

Yes.
We don’t need proof of LFT but are expected to do them and wear masks.

Leftbutcameback · 02/03/2022 09:10

My office still has the same layout as throughout covid. We’re asked to wear a mask when walking around, and restricted to two people in the kitchen and meeting rooms, but no request to do tests

Sweetleftfood · 02/03/2022 09:14

Strongly encouraged yes, no offer from them to pay for tests though, so will do it until my tests run out

Mindymomo · 02/03/2022 09:28

Where my son works everything is still the same, testing twice a week, mask on when not at work bench, wearing watches that bleep if within 2 metres of someone. Also still working in bubbles, the company produces medical equipment and cannot afford to have lots of people off, they will probably pay for private tests when they are no longer free.

SatinHeart · 02/03/2022 09:46

We are advised to still LFT twice a week but have never had to send proof of the result. Work supplies the LFTs.

Masks not required but still 'strongly recommended' in communal areas (I would say about 95% of people are still wearing them). We're in England.
