My 3.5 yr old tested positive 5 and a half weeks ago. He had quite a lot of symptoms but was better in a week, perhaps tired. Obviously we were all stuck inside for ages and then my dh and I were very tired for a good month afterwards.

I feel like exactly four weeks after he tested positive he became uncharacteristically very prone to extreme tantrums.

I know it could be the age (I have an older one.) it could also be a reaction to going back to nursery etc and not watching endless tv. Trying to assert some control? It's just very uncharacteristically extreme.

I'm still getting symptoms, it's wrecked my hormones and I've now got the itchy rash. I remember he was like this a couple of weeks after chicken pox and it's a known "thing."

I thought I saw a thread a while ago with similar experiences.
