WWYD about carpet fitting?

Tested positive today. Due to have new carpets fitted on 7 March, i.e. next Monday. By then I will have had to wait a month for the appointment.

The carpets are hall, two staircases/landings, and our loft bedroom. I can make sure I'm downstairs, in the living room with the door closed.

Would you go ahead with the appointment or would you postpone it?

(BTW I am actually ill, rather than just asymptomatic - and I have already postponed the guy coming to clean my ovens who was due to come on Wednesday!)

If it's a self-employed carpet fitter who is free to make their own decision whether to come or not, I would let them know the situation and let them decide. If we're talking a larger company that will send an employee who has to go whether they like it or not, I would postpone.

In that case I would explain that you have Covid so need to postpone.

OK. Thank you.
