Describe your post-Covid lingering cough

Mine feels like a tickle in my breathing tubes that gives me an urge to cough when air passes by both ways, but coughing doesn't feel satisfying. It is a dry, raw cough but I can suppress it as it doesn't relieve the itchy sensation anyway.

I had Covid January 2021 and the coughing gradually improved and was mostly premenstrual.
It was tickley and rose up from quite high in the chest. As you say, it was usually suppressible, but sometimes not easily.
I am starting to hope that mine has gone. Two things happened. It persisted through my final period until a couple of weeks later I realised I had a productive cough. That was very bad for a couple of weeks, but now after four weeks it has pretty much gone and taken the Covid cough with it, I think.
