Hi, just would like to know. Are we still meant to register our LFTs from now on? Should one in the family be ill and they take a LFT, whatever the outcome, are we meant to register the results?

I registered my son's positive LFT yesterday but nothing much has happened as a result of it!

Ah was wondering what it says on the other end if register a positive!

I think so, I’ve had texts & emails from the NHS this week reminding me to register my results 🤷🏼‍♀️

I never bothered. Don’t have time for that, either got it or haven’t! Lateral flows should remain available for people to make a quick informed decision about whether to spend time with a vulnerable person, they will be impossible to get hold of now!

Yes, if you take an LFT, register the results.

Apart from it taking a couple of minutes of your time, why wouldn't you? And if it produces useful (ish) data for epidemiologists, even better. It could help in understanding the seasonal ebb and flow, which will be useful if there are further variants which produce more concerning levels of illness
