Is this a positive covid test??

I’m 7 weeks pregnant and been feeling really poorly for a couple of days. Sore throat, very chesty. Dry cough. Head ache. Muscles aches. Couldn’t stop vomiting yesterday but was unsure if I was having a bad day of morning sickness. So I took this test this morning when I woke up. Is a faint line a positive line the same as on a pregnancy test? And if so why would it be faint if I’m as poorly as I am

Yes any line, however faint is positive as long as it was read during the correct time limit (although my DS's came up like that after the time limit and still tested properly the day after).

I was quite poorly for around 48-72 hours before my test turned positive.

Yes Iv had 3 vaccines. My first two then my first booster

I wasn't right for 2.5 days before I got a test result like that. If you test again late tonight or tomorrow morning, chances are the line will be darker or red if you've got it.

Definitely positive. Can start off very faint. I've seen fainter than yours. Chances are line will be stronger by tomorrow! Hope you feel better soon!

Well you don't need to retest with another lateral flow. You have classic Covid symptoms and that test is positive. Get a PCR test. You have Covid.

My LFTS just came so I took one straight away. Looks like I do have covid after all

I don’t think it’s an ‘after all’ - it was clear you were positive from the first test and your symptoms, as everyone told you! Anyway, hope you feel better soon.

Hope you're ok. I've heard of people ignoring a faint line, so you've done the right thing to do another test.
