Vaccine and periods

I’ve been trying to find posts regarding this but can’t find anything about my specific issue.

I had 2 Pfizer vaccines and all fine. My third, booster vaccine, all fine until my period a month later. It was 10 days late with 4 days of spotting before it started. Hoped it was just a dodgy month.

Next month, period on time but with 5 days spotting beforehand. Was considering doctor, but thought I’d give it another month.

I haven’t made it to the next cycle yet, I’m halfway through but I have been having pelvic pain for the last 4 days. I can’t decide if it’s period pain, muscular, bladder. Basically it’s a non descript pain in that region, although I do have a backache as well. I am assuming it’s all linked.

Has anyone else had problems with their periods similar to this, rather than the delayed / early that comes up on Google (where they say it’s just 1 or 2 days and only for 1 cycle!)

I've had similar but I am still breastfeeding so not sure what to blame it on.

There have been hundreds of threads about this.

I mean changes to cycle following vaccines and boosters.

It could be completely unrelated so do not dismiss as the vaccine. I did have some disruption but then I'm peri menopausal so not like clockwork to start with. Any change more than 3 months it's worth talking to your gp

@gogohm i’m not. I’m going for a pelvic scan tomorrow as I am very concerned by the mid cycle cramping. It’s been literally constant for 4 days and I only ever cramp for day 1 of my period, and not constantly, that’s in waves.

Should anyone come searching, just to update that my scan today was clear so no physical reason for the cramping and spotting. Uti negative. Awaiting results for thrush swab.
