Charged for PCR test postage?

Is this how it works?

I got a text where the link wants me to pay £1.34 postage for a PCR.

First I heard of this!

I've had 3 or 4 scam messages recently ('you need to pay excess postage' ones).

Is this real?

It's obviously a scam.

The wording makes it obvious it's a scam.

They'd never just say 'you've been with someone with Omicron'.

Scam, had a similar text saying I was a close contact and to order a test. Any NHS text will not show a phone/mobile number.

I go one the day after I ordered a pcr test for symptomatic ds. I did wonder about the coincidence.

As the NHS nolonger advise you need to a PCR test after being in contact with someone who has covid it’s clearly a scam.
