If you can't get the 2 consecutive negatives from day 5 onwards, you have to complete the full 10 days. If you're still testing positive after 10 days, you can still come out of isolation. It's not going to be an issue for much longer!

What is the chances of being negative only2 days after getting a positive. Should i test again tomorrow or just continue to day 5 then test again for 2 days

Yep I know other people who were positive only for a short window. As pp says you need to wait till day 5 and then you can be released if it's negative.

Thank you this is all very confusing

Why confusing? You had two positives (plus symptoms), you obviously have Covid.

It maybe that you're passed the heavily infectious stage but it maybe that the swab just didn't pick it up today. There's no benefit to testing until Day Five.

@JanglyBeads thank you.

Grammar fail- typos:
It may be that you're past the heavily infectious stage
