Could this be covid?

I feel really feverish and achey- my whole body especially my legs. Comes in waves and have a headache off and on. Fatigue, loss of appetite, flushed, nausea, very slightly stuffed up nose but no sneezing, coughing or breathing difficulties. Can still smell and taste. Triple jabbed but never had covid before.

Have taken a lateral flow and it was negative so I've ordered a postal PCR.

It could be… but it could be something else.

We’ve all had covid recently and sometimes the symptoms last a few days before the LFT turns positive.

Could be. Could not be. Your test will tell you.

Could be. I tested positive on a PCR and I think it was 3 days afterwards it finally showed up on LFTs.

Wish I had ordered the PCR on Saturday when I first started feeling unwell. But the symptoms were so different from classic covid or omicron symptoms and the lateral flow was negative. So until this afternoon I thought it definitely wasn't covid but have now started to wonder. The only person I've spoken to in person apart from DH in that time was the dog walker who came today, but I would have cancelled her if I thought I had covid.

@NotJustACigar it could well be. I just tested positive on a PCR on Sunday. My only symptom was a slightly sore throat and a hoarse voice. I have not had any of the ‘recognised’ symptoms, a bit of a tickly cough at night but I have that sometimes anyway and my smell and taste is fine.
