DS aged 6 tested positive 2 weeks ago and was totally fine throughout. A very slight cough and snotty nose day 0 and day 1 but otherwise his usual energetic self. Went back to school mid week and on Thurs night and last night has complained of feeling 'tired like I can't move'. Today he doesn't want to go to football, which he loves usually, because he's tired. Anyone else's dc been like this after covid even though they were never actually poorly?

My 6yo hasn't recently had covid but is shattered after school every day atm and almost crawls home at the end of the week which is not like him. It's been a long dark half term and he's not yet done a full year at school so I'm thinking he just needs the half term break and some lie ins!

My 6 year old has Covid 4 weeks ago and was so tired she could barely walk after her first day back at school ( after the full 10 days). She still seems a bit more tired than usual but that could just be end of half term exhaustion. Unlike most her classmates Covid was more like flu than a cold for her though, and after we thought she was better she still took herself off for an afternoon nap for the next couple of days.

Yes, one if my children was asymptomatic all though their 10 days from positive pcr then developed slight fever and feeling very tired on day 11. Lasted a couple of days then fine.

We all had covid a few weeks ago. My baby had no symptoms, but now after covid, seems to be more tired than usual. She prefers to spend her days laying down relaxing in front of the tv or watching her ipad. Usually she’s bouncing off the walls.
My eldest (12 years old) had a fever for a day or 2, but is very tired most days now. He comes back from school exhausted.
Odd thing is my middle DS (9 years old) was very hyper through covid (he had no symptoms at all) and is even more hyper now a few weeks after covid. It weird how it affects everyone differently.

My 6 yo was fine however a friend of mine got through the isolation almost no symptoms at all and then, around 11 days in, was totally shattered. A week later and she’s a lot better.

Thanks all. It's such a strange virus. Hopefully the tiredness will pass soon.
