Strange symptoms on day 7

I’m on day 7/8 and my mouth feels weird, like it’s furry / tingly on my tongue. It kind of feels like I’ve burnt my tongue, even though I haven’t. It doesn’t feel like there’s enough saliva in my mouth, I can’t be dehydrated as I’m drinking lots of water.
My sinuses are still blocked, so I’m thinking it could be linked to that?
I haven’t actually lost my taste, but things don’t taste right as it feels like my tongue is burnt/sore.

Yes that's what happened to us and then lost taste. Burning Lasted about a week though tAste is patchy.

There's a kind of relapse around day 7-10 and often when people go into hospital

@WarriorN I thought that was less likely to happen with omicron? The relapse on days 7-10 and landing in hospital?
Also would lack of taste / a burning tongue be a symptom of concern for potential hospital visit?

Sorry I wasn't clear as I'm still fuggy

Yes much less likely to happen with omicron but in my experience I started to feel better around day 6/7 and then went downhill again with the tongue thing and new symptoms. A friend who works the Covid wards said that was a typical pattern, but obviously I Wasn't anywhere near needing hospital!

I started to feel like I was getting better day 11 but then the fatigue hit.

It feels like a roller coaster!

My taste and tongue are fine now. I think I'm day 18. But struggling a lot with fatigue. My husband has actually been very similar to me and is struggling too.

Some seem to find it a normal cold, some are asymptomatic. Some are mildly ill but the fatigue hits a couple of weeks later. I feel this has been like a run of flu.
