BBC:Covid: Wales' mask and isolation laws could end in March
In England Boris Johnson said that self-isolation rules could end by 21 February.
He was asked what would happen to someone who had Covid who lived in England but came to work in Wales without self-isolating, Mr Gething said that person would be "in breach of the law".
"If you are in Wales, you need to follow the rules in Wales, it's that simple," he said.
DH crosses boarder for work - works in England - his employer is a large one and many staff do this - house prices in the city being so high- when England got rid of work from home rule and Wales had kept it his employer insisted everyone go in as it had ended - this time they insisted the were excempt to work from home as they were in education - which is true.
They'd currently like their staff to test weekely - but if DH tests postive he'd potentailly run into problems - so why bother testing.
What Covid tests do I still need to travel abroad?
Unvaccinated travellers still have to show proof of a negative Covid test taken two days before departure.
They must also take a post-arrival PCR test two days after arrival. This must be booked before travelling to the UK and bought privately from a government-approved list of providers.
If this is positive, they need to self-isolate.
However, unvaccinated travellers no longer have to self-isolate on arrival, or take a test on day eight.
What other rules are still in force?
All unvaccinated travellers to the UK must complete a passenger locator form before departure.
