Travelling to Spain after infection

Does anyone know the answer to this, please:

I'm triple jabbed but have this morning tested positive for Covid. We are due to be going to Spain for half-term next Friday. I know about the day 5 testing protocol for early release from self-isolation but what I don't know if whether having had covid so recently will affect my ability to travel (assuming I'm testing negative by then). I'm finding it hard to find this information on gov.uk website.

Anyone had this situation? Would be so gutted if we can't go. We used to live there and this is our first trip back to see friends.

Thank you!

The default is 10 days isolation still. Lots of people still test positive on day 5 and 6. I also think the covid pass disappears while you have covid so wouldn't be available to use. I'm not sure you'll be able to go as soon as next Friday

What is Spain’s isolation period now? That will be the important one as they won’t let you in if you haven’t completed that.

Rules for travel to Spain is you must be 14 days clear of infection

Have you done a PCR and reported it ? Your covid travel pass will disappear for 10 days

Thank you. I was having some symptoms so have done LF tests the last couple of days. This morning tested positive for first time. I've not done a PCR yet.

If you record any tests on the nhs app your pass will disappear. However, the Spain locator form specifically asks if you have tested positive, or been in contact with some who has, in the last 14 days
