Can anyone tell me?

I'm reading 'I tested negative on day 6/7 (whatever)'

What test?

PCR?

Can you order a string of them?

People are talking about 'lines' but that's surely on Lateral flows- I thought you weren't supposed to use them if you were symptomatic??

Lft test! You test on day 6 and 7 if still positive you need to isolate . You can test pcr positive for a while after

It's my freedom day today. I continued to test positive up unt yesterday, albeit getting more and more faint each day.

Not testing when symptomatic was always a red herring. Although someone I know tried to order lateral flows do they could test on day 5 but the website wouldn't let them order because they had tested positive Confused
PCR would be no good at this point as it would more than likely be ositive.
I think if you have a fever but negative lft two consecutive days you still have to isolate (check though!). Unless of course it is day 10 when you don't have to isolate even if you test positive & have symptoms!

6 not 5. It's all very confusing!
