Booster or am I actually sick?

Hi all,

I got my booster jab on Friday Eve, was okay over the weekend but on Monday started to feel congested and unwell and it's gotten worse. I don't have covid but I have flu like symptoms and it's worse today and I was wondering if it could be the jab or if I'm poorly for a different reason?

I'm probably worrying over nothing but was just wondering if it is the jab - would it last this long?

Thank you

My covid symptoms started as flu like symptoms. Have you done an lft

My DS was unwell after his Covid vaccine, with heavy cold symptoms, body aches, headache, mild fever and generally feeling rubbish. He also had the expected painful arm.

I suspect he probably caught a cold on top of mild vaccine side effects but will probably never know. We did several LFTs whilst he was unwell and all negative. He took about a week to fully recover and is still a bit congested.

NHS advice is to get a PCR if fever persists more than 48 hours after vaccine.

I have covid.

Another question is it okay I got jabbed whilst having covid?

Yes I came to say, the booster won’t give you congestion.

I know 2 people who were vaccinated whilst they had covid (they didn’t know at the time) - I expect it happens a lot.
