Confused...APP says one thing work says another

The NHS app says isolate till 11.59 on 10th but work are saying in tomorrow?
Confused... ( LFT this morning positive)

Work are probably taking day 1 as day one app takes it as day zero which is annoying I thought I could test today (day 5) it's tomorrow according to the app Confused

No symptoms, LFT on 31st positive, had PCR same day.

I get midnight on 10th too.

31st was day 0, 1st Feb was day 1, so day 10 is the 10th, back to work on 11th, no matter if LFT is still showing positive, you are past the infectious stage.

The day of symptoms/pos test if no symptom is day zero. The next day is day 1 and you count 10 from then. ☺️

It's a common misconception. People don't realised the first day is day 0.

Partners work saying Friday return mine tomorrow. Both tested positive same day

Do you have a HR department? Are you in a Union?Is it them giving you this info or someone else? I'd send an email along the lines of as it's a legal requirement that I isolate until Friday, I will be isolating until Friday. If you can check this with the Union, tell them that's it's on Union advice. If they try to take this any further, they wouldn't be able to, because they're wrong.

If you're too tired/don't feel well enough, then it doesn't matter when isolation ends, you're off work sick until you feel better.

Fair point about if feeling ill still regardless of isolation period not to return till well.
Shall see what tomorrow brings, if still feeling like I do today then I will not be going in.
