So 5 of boys have tested positive ages 16, 12, 7,5 and 3.

They have tested positive on LFT and have sent PCR off. They all started with cold like symptoms, headaches, aches and pains all over and a cough. They started to test positive with days of each other, the older boys 16 & 12 seem okay in themselves in the day time but terrible coughing at night ( not persistent).
The younger boys 2 of which have autism have temp of 37.9 & 38.1 who have sensory issues and non verbal are spitting the calpol out becoming distressed and having a meltdown when trying to give calpol to reduce temp.

So I am trying but it is causing huge distress, which is making them upset and not helping there symptoms.

Any tips on how to manage the temp ? Have stripped them off, give ice pops, drinks.

I am very anxious worrying about them it feels as though it's all out of my control.

How long do these symptoms last in children?

Can you put calpol in their drinks, maybe give half a cup to make sure they drink it all. Do they like baths, a tepid bath can lower temperature and cold flannels.
