So when did I catch Covid?

I am certain I caught Covid on a coach journey, it was the only time I was with other people in a confined unventilated area for hours. I took a trip up on the Friday and returned on the Sunday. On Tuesday morning I had a negative LTF and started to develop a (looking back on it) Covid headache. By Wednesday lunchtime I was coughing and felt awful and had a super strong test.

So did I catch it on the coach going up or coming back?

They think Omicron has a shorter incubation period so possibly the journey back. It is impossible to tell though.

Could easily have been from whatever you did on the Saturday too!

Someone I live with caught it off the coach and passed it onto me. I did warn them multiple times not to get the coach. Hope you feel better soon. I think a train is much safer than the coach as coaches don't have opening windows.

@countrylady2 , most trains don't have opening windows .

True, I did spend 30 mins in a KFC, but rest of time was by myself.

Thank you. Yes I am certain it was from the coach, there wasn't many of us on there, but no fresh air.

Really sorry you have covid, and hope you're not too poorly. Why are you so concerned with where you caught it? It does seem to be a strange fascination with everyone & unless it's to finger point I just don't get why? When I had it, first thing everyone asked was where I thought I got it. I feel if I said 'an all day rave' that would appease many of them best and off they could tut.. we are living through an airborne pandemic. There's no shame in succumbing!

I'd say it was the trip back but it could realistically be either. I'm pretty sure I know where I contracted it and it was three days later I started to feel unwell.

On the coach up everyone wore a mask, on the coach back everyone took their mask off as soon as the driver pulled away.

I see your point. I think it's just an annoyance to me about not knowing when and how when you're at home feeling sick and not much else to think about.

@HoneyFlowers It is understandable why you want to know where you caught it as you may want to avoid that environment anytime soon.
