I can't see a line

gamerchick · 08/02/2022 12:38

I do see a line. Very faint though.

MonkeyPuddle · 08/02/2022 12:39

I see a faint one.

SilkySusan · 08/02/2022 12:39

I think I can. I would stay inside today and test again tomorrow. Or get a PCR for a definitive answer.

crouchingpheasant · 08/02/2022 12:40

I can see a faint line

Thiswayorthatway · 08/02/2022 12:43

No line

Viviennemary · 08/02/2022 12:44

No I can't see a line. Test again in a few days

ifonly4 · 08/02/2022 12:47

I had something similar, very hard to see a line. However, I did one about three hours later (DH positive and wasn't feeling great), and there was a faint line. So if I were you, I'd do my best to keep away from others and tests a bit later.

Lindy2 · 08/02/2022 12:47

I can see something a bit darker near the T line but it's so faint I can't tell if it's a line or just shadowing.

I'd get a PCR test to be more certain as your daughter has symptoms.

SophiesMummySaid · 08/02/2022 12:53

I have confirmed covid and my lateral flows have all been like that, until today when it got slightly stronger 4 days after my lab test. I would book a PCR given that she’s also not well.

LethargeMarg · 08/02/2022 13:01

Yes a very thin very faint line sorry

Workinghardeveryday · 08/02/2022 13:03

I see it. This was me on the day I tested positive at lunchtime, by bath time a little stronger. Next morning definitely a line.

Wedonttalkaboutboris · 08/02/2022 13:19

I can see a faint one

unchienandalucia · 08/02/2022 13:51

Yup sorry, there's a line.

Icanseeclearlynow12 · 08/02/2022 14:32

Thank you everyone. I've kept her home from school today as she's not well enough to be in anyway and will test again in the morning, has been lots of covid in her class but hoped we had somehow avoided it!

She needs a pcr test

Blabla81 · 08/02/2022 14:38

Yes I can see a line that looks to be in the correct place too. If it is positive, you should get a darker result later this evening or in the morning.

Orchid876 · 08/02/2022 16:01

I'd do a PCR test to confirm. I had a false positive that looked like that, so as she has symptoms a PCR will be more definitive.

DirtyDancing · 08/02/2022 16:11

I had a neg LFT, and positive PCR.

Have you swabbed nose and throat? My son didn't show up on nose only with symptoms. Did throat and it was a bright red line.

chesirecat99 · 08/02/2022 16:31

You need to do a PCR test as she has symptoms.

As DirtyDancing, you may need to swab her throat to detect omicron. I would also add that a lot of my DC's triple vaxxed uni friends have had COVID recently (confirmed by a PCR) but were getting negative LFTs, even with throat swabs.
