Another is this positive!

Managed to dodge COVID so far and always thought it would be obvious when a LFT was positive so never thought I would need to ask this... but is this LFT test positive? I think I can see a faint line but not sure if I am seeing things!

Yes it’s positive. My first one looked like that. The second one I did a few minutes later was darker.

Mine looked like that so I did a second one 20 minutes later and it was positive as was my PCR.

Three days in and I now have a weird sense of taste where everything tastes of soap and no sense of smell.

With me everything tastes of vinegar and smells of chemicals.

My sense of taste doesn't currently seem to be affected, but my son says everything tastes of popcorn to him - which seems quite lucky to me 😆

That looks just like the one I did at 4am last Thursday when I wasn't feeling great. I did another brand LFTat 7am and had the faintest grey line (which anyone else might have missed, other than I was feeling ill and DH positive). Work wanted a PCR, but I was apprehensive in meantime, so did another LFT next day at 10am which was red and clearly positive.

BewaretheBeardedDragon neither mine nor DH's sense of taste has gone. In fact, I was hungry the first three days so I've probably put on weight as haven't been moving around much!

We’ve had a few like this in our house that haven’t dried correctly and they were negative.
