Covid again?

DD (7) has just had covid, her last day of isolation was 26/1/22 following 2 negative tests. At the time she had very few symptoms, a temperature that lasted 24 hours and a change in her sense of taste. She didn’t have a cough at all. Since then she hasn’t yet returned to her usual self.

Towards the end of last week she was complaining of an earache and yesterday she was a bit snotty. Today she has a cough and feels a bit warm this afternoon although I haven’t taken her temperature yet.

Could she have covid again? There have been a few cases in her class this week. Or is this just her recovering from covid previously? Just an ill -timed cold? Any thoughts!

Do a LFT and book her a PCR as she has cough and fever. It’s the only way to be relatively sure, although it seems unlikely so soon x
