Negative lateral flow, positive PCR

Anyone else? My husband tested positive on a lateral flow a few days ago, so I've been testing myself daily and all negative. I took him for a PCR yesterday, and had one myself due to feeling awful - result back this morning as positive. But still negative on lateral flow.

Yes my DS positive on PCR last week had symptoms but has never had a positive LFT. Also two of my sisters had positive PCRs recently as members of their household tested positive and they both work in healthcare and always had negative LFT. My GP practice nurse mentioned to me that she thinks it might be because the flex Flow LFT only go up in nose but the omicron bacteria is largely in the throat this is just her opinion though as she is seeing this a lot. .

My son was positive on a LFT on Fri, the rest of us were negative on LFT. So we all went for a PCR the same day. DS and DH both came back positive on PCR. My mum who is CEV was a contact of my son, her LFT was negative, she went for a PCR it was positive. I also have friends who had it recently and 3 of them in their household the same thing happened. Seems quite common and makes me wonder how many people unknowingly have it as the LFT don’t seem to be picking it up.

I tested positive on PCR this past Tuesday (with symptoms). I didn’t get a positive lateral flow until Thursday.

My PCR from earlier has come back positive and I’ve had all negative LFT. I’m asymptomatic.

My pcr was positive from Monday. Only showed on lateral flow as a faint line on Friday, then got stronger the next day.

I had a positive PCR atleast 24hrs maybe more before a positive LFT (stopped testing once I had the PCR result) but it must have been positive eventually as when I started doing LFT at day 5 I had strong immediate positives right through day 9. That was last week and not done one since so don't know if it's still positive.

Yes not once did my lateral flow show up positive. Even the one I took half an hour before the positive PCR. I know others who said the same too.
