Hi lovely mumsnetters

Read guidance but can't see answer anywhere unless I've skim read!

I had Covid in Dec and son just tested positive on LFT.

Does he need a PCR as well now?

And do I need to self isolate as I had in Dec?

😊 thank you!

He doesn't need a PCR.

You don't have to isolate, because no (double vaccinated) household members do: regardless of whether you've already had it and how long ago. You and any other household members are advised to take LFTs for 7 days though.

If you register his positive result they'll send you all this info.

Thank you I'll register and organise some LFTs.
