So my toddler had a cold then a fever for 12 hrs then seemed fine just snot for 24-36 hours then vomited through the night. Complaining of headache. LFT negative but he goes mad when I do it so I don't want to keep doing them. Does this sound like covid?? Rest of house are ok so far...

Tbh it could be Covid or something else.

My DS has been like this couple times and turned out to be an ear infection or urine infection.

Oh really, I hadn't even considered those... 😩

I didn't enter and never knew they could cause vomiting.

I would ring GP, advise neg test and see if they'll check him over

Either

So hard to tell with toddlers! They get random, short lived fevers all the time plus colds & vomiting are also really common!

I wouldn’t have PCR’d for the cold or the vomiting but the fever, I probably would have done. Every child I know who has had omicron (and I know loads via both my kids 🙈) has had a fever.. might be worth double checking!

Fever is an official symptom so I would have got a pcr done then.
