Temp 40.2 post booster vaccine

I had Covid before xmas and hadn't qualified to get booster as the rule was 6 months. I felt pretty rough for a while so had booster yesterday. I felt ok this morning, took nurofen as started to feel rough and now I feel so tender and temp 40.2 ... feels worse than when I had Covid! Anyone else similar experience? Wondering how long I'll feel like this for.... (ps had Moderna for booster)

Try paracetamol

Try paracetamol and also an anti histamine. We have been really ill after our jabs and this helped no end.

Yes I was exactly the same. Had Covid before Christmas them had my booster (also Moderna) and felt terrible with a fever over 40. Felt ill for 2 days then just felt tired for a couple of days. I assumed maybe it was because I'd recently had Covid, who knows. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone, that makes sense. So annoying it feels worse than when I had the damned virus
