I did an lft this morning, precautionary before an appointment, no symptoms or anything.

I picked it up and was like omg there's a line then I look again and there's not.

Maybe I have a vivid imagination but I proper thinking there's a line on them.

Seeing things for sure!

Definitely no line on closer look. Have been used to actual very faint lines when we all had covid recently, the ones you could easily miss.

My brain plays tricks on me 😅

Anyone else? Or am I just mad?

I think this is coming and very familiar to anyone who has ever really really wanted a pregnancy test to be positive Grin

That is very true and I can understand fully in that situation! There was so doubt my test when pregnant with oldest child was positive, he was my surprise baby. With Dd, we were trying for a while. Taking tests and looking for lines is heartbreaking. Even had a false positive on a clear blue!

I think you can see a line as the fluid moves up the test but it doesn't stick
So a suggestion of a line that doesn't materialise.

This!

You need to do it and walk away for the 15 or 30 minutes the test says to. Then come back. And then throw away as seeing one after the time doesn’t count either.

It was after this point, I had left it 15 minutes then 30, but I know what you mean. I've watched it at this point and been like omg 😅 when my partner tested positive he got an instant positive line before the control line.
