COVID symptom - emotional?

I tested positive on Friday and have been quite emotionally fragile since then.
Am feeling better and more normal today, but was surprised at feeling emotional/irrational especially re being absent from work.
Anyone else noticed this as a symptom?

I’m no psychologist, but we’ve been trying to avoid catching covid for 2 years now, with massive impact on daily life, and sacrifices etc (my child didn’t speak to another child for 6 months because of lockdowns thanks feckin partying Boris) not to mention all the horror stories the news kept pumping out.

So now to finally catch it, after all the stress and drama, as we all will eventually, is a bit of a psychological shock. Not surprised you’re feeling shaken.

Yes. The day before I tested positive I was very emotional, I felt a bit spaced out, giddy and tearful. I was snappy and felt most odd. My friends’s dd was the same today, they tested positive later in the day.
