In 2018 I was seriously ill after contracting sepsis and septic shock. The past 3 years have been a living nightmare of constant illness, infection and exhaustion. So avoiding covid has been a priority. However i tested mildly pos last Sunday 23rd and blown no denying pos on the 24th Jan 22. I've young children and one tested pos on 17th Jan so thanks kid! Anyway I feel awful well and truly like I've been hit by a bus. Wobbly legs, fuzzy head, feeling like my limbs aren't mine, no appetite, exhaustion you name it I have it. However now my chest is starting to get tight and my oxygen Sats are going between 88 and 95. My dad was seriously ill last January with covid so I know how bad it can get. Due to my underlying health I'm terrified that I'm going to get really really sick. My kids almost lost me once. I'm trying to put on a brave face but I've no energy buy don't feel like I need hospital care but I thought I possibly would have started to feel a bit better by now.

If you’re oximeter reading is going that low, should you not at least call 111?

whiteworldgettingwhiter · 30/01/2022 15:40

Agree. If your SATs are regularly under 95, call 111.

Sorry to hear this.

Agree best to call 111 as there are new treatments such as antivirals.
