How long do we keep testing for?

My eldest tested positive on Monday. The rest of us have been testing all week but coming up negative. We did PCRs Tuesday but LF other days. How long should we keep testing for? Till the eldest stops being positive? (we tested yesterday and a faint line still) Or are we not supposed to test unless we have symptoms?

We had texts telling us to test for 7 days

OK. Thank you. That's kind of what I was thinking. Will test before school Monday but then that's it unless symptoms. Eldest had her first negative test today so will do us all again tomorrow and see what it says.

Technically 7 days but my eldest caught it off my youngest and didn’t show up until day 8 of testing.

Actually it was 9.

Monday would be 7 days for the rest of us. I might test sibling Tuesday evening before a group activity. I kept her off last week convinced she would test positive the next day. But I don't want to keep her off again without testing positive
