Grrrr

I don't even feel that ill anymore. I want to go out and play with the children and go to work Sad

Promise me it will be negative tomorrow?

No promises. I had no "official" covid symptoms and felt well enough to exercise in the house and only got a negative at time on D11 and a fully clear test at D12 (continued daily testing to know any new positive was actually relevant).

Very frustrating, especially when adults were the last to test positive!

I'm also isolating from the rest of the family so it's quite boring. Especially as kids will be home from school tomorrow so I can't wander around aimlessly staring out of windows.

Day 9 here and still very positive. It is so frustrating.

Firesidefox · 28/01/2022 16:31

DD 11 was still testing positive on Day 9. I gave up testing her after that.

DH is day 5 today and he has a positive line on his LFT test, too, even though he feels fine. It's a bit fainter than it was at the start, but still a definite line.

dementedpixie · 28/01/2022 16:36

I think hardly anyone is negative at day 5 or 6.
Some people are still positive after day 10 although they don't need to keep isolating at that point

Maggiesgarden · 28/01/2022 16:40

Day 11 till mine was negative.

YanTanTetheraPetheraPimp · 28/01/2022 16:45

My DGCs are still positive day 8, not happy ☹️

FoxBaseBeta · 28/01/2022 16:49

I finally got a negative today on day 9 and I've felt pretty much well since day 2. I can taste the freedom now!

Bigfathairyones · 28/01/2022 16:49

Yep - join the club. We've only had 1 person negative on day 5 so far and that's out of a group of at least 20.

samks · 28/01/2022 17:06

I tested positive until day 12, H was day 11. Didn’t bother testing the kids to see when theirs was negative as we were positive anyway.

Vbree · 28/01/2022 17:09

I'm only on day 1 but it doesn't look likely I'll be testing negative on day 5/6 then! No I know has so far. I don't understand how you could isolate from the rest of the family that long? My toddler is also off from the childminder and me and my husband need to work. We also have 1 bathroom so no way of staying out of each other's way! Omicron is also mild for the majority of us, unless you're living with someone vulnerable?

Sandyjag · 28/01/2022 17:12

I’m positive on my day 7 and I have been isolating with my positive child for 10 days already. Thankfully we’re both fine but 😱

Pushkinia · 28/01/2022 17:21

I’m on day 5 and still testing positive, although the line is much more faint that it was on day 0. I’m hoping to be back at work on Monday (I’m a teacher) but prepared for the fact it might not happen.

KindergartenKop · 28/01/2022 20:13

I did a second test today and it was a bit fainter.
I've been able to isolate in spare bedroom and we have a separate loo next to it. But I go downstairs and clear up the dinner stuff while DH baths kids. They're at primary school so they are able to not just barge in like a little one might. We did this the other way around when DH had it in November so they know the drill Confused
