I see a lot about post covid brain fog but Im on Day 4 and I feel so odd. Like im not in reality. Struggling to sequence tasks and feeling easily overwhelmed.
Is this part of it?! Confused

Yes, I had exactly the same, exactly how you’re describing. Like you’re observing but aren’t really there. A very weird feeling.
I’m now on day 12 and it’s cleared loads. Hope you’re feeling better soon x

I’ve had it twice and that’s exactly how I felt.

Totally. I think it's both physical and mental strain conspire to make you feel like you are verging on delirious. Flowers

Thank you. Ive been in since the 19th because my children had it first so I wondered if it was some cabin fever. Seems its probably not. Ugh!

Oh yes, disorientated. I ended up in hospital and could barely string a sentence together!

TheVanguardSix · 28/01/2022 16:43

Completely had this... it was like my brain itself wasn't in sync with its thoughts and I could physically feel an accompanying fuzzy, weird, sort of ethereal sensation accompanying it... and it wasn't nice. It was very destabilising. Like there was some schism between my mental and physical brain. I remember feeling quite scared of it at one point. The weirdest feeling I've ever had and I've never experienced anything like it.

Yes, recognize it completely! Wired but absent and unable to sequence things together, or concentrate. Very, very odd!
