Thought I’d share the antiviral trial information, for anyone who tests positive and are in certain groups. It doesn’t appear to be very widely publicised, though is linked to via the NHS site regarding antiviral use.
There is a University of Oxford research study trial is open to a much wider group of covid positive people, including anyone over 50 or people 12y+ with a much wider range of health conditions.
If you test positive on an LFT or PCR you can access the trial - some people will be given the antivirals, along with a short online daily diary to complete; others will be just asked to complete the daily disry.
